Giving Back To Local Communities

Being a family run business, giving back has been ingrained into the culture and values of iTi from its inception. With personnel from around the globe, the iTi team cares deeply for both our local and global communities. While we contribute and support various organizations throughout the year, the organizations below are the ones we choose to partner with because of our belief in their mission to make the world a better place for everyone.

If you believe iTi is a fit to partner with your organization to help support its mission, please reach out to us.

Rotary International

Rotary is an international service organization whose stated human rights purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and advance goodwill and peace around the world. There is a tremendous parallel between iTi and Rotary because we are both global but operate with a strong local presence. Each Rotary Club primarily supports projects in the respective Club’s local community.

iTi President, Francesco Pagano, is actively involved with the Rotary Club of Hartford and is currently the active president for the club. Rotary has been actively involved in assisting several programs in Hartford to support youth and education programs, as well as environmentally friendly initiatives. This commitment that iTi has made extends not only to iTi-owned locations, but to those of our key partners, as well.

We couldn’t be more proud to support Rotary in their global, regional, and local initiatives and projects because it’s the people from different backgrounds and cultures that need our support the most!

Translators Without Borders

Translators Without Borders works to raise awareness of the importance of language in global humanitarian and development work, bring assistance to those in need, and work towards a world where knowledge knows no language barriers.

Translators Without Borders is the world’s leading non-profit translation organization and reached the major milestone of 50 million words translated since 2011 for non-profit partners working on healthcare, crisis response, and education programs.

In 2017, Translators Without Borders provided linguistic support in response to the European refugee crisis, the hurricanes that ravaged the Caribbean, and the Rohingya refugee crisis in Bangladesh, among other emergencies, by providing vital information to affected communities in a language they can understand.

DanceMotion USA

DanceMotion USA is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State, produced by BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) to facilitate cultural exchange while showcasing the best in contemporary American dance abroad.

DanceMotion USA works with US embassies to establish partnerships with leading cultural, social service, and community organizations and educational institutions, creating unique residencies that allow for cultural sharing and engagement. Participating dance companies engage in residencies abroad where they provide workshops and outreach events, lead master classes for local dancers, participate in collaborative creative sessions with local artists, and offer public performances and artist discussions to facilitate greater communication and understanding.

DanceMotion USA also promotes and fosters international dialogue about the arts with administrators and technical theater professionals. Through roundtable discussions and training workshops, program participants share best practices and offer ideas based on each specific country’s situation-considering factors of environment, funding, education, and resources-and in the process establish a network of global colleagues.

Alliances

iTi’s commitment to the language industry is apparent through the variety of organizations we belong to, both as members and supporters, in order to bring transparency to the industry itself.

Many government agencies, companies, and people within those organizations are often surprised to realize our industry exists, and for good reason. We are a support industry to the bigger picture of business and government. If we do our part well, we are often unseen.

For iTi to stay on top of global trends and diversity, we are huge supporters of the organizations below. Take a look and reach out to us if you have any questions about our involvement or any of the movements taking place. These organizations all play important roles in our society, and we are extremely honored to support their missions
