Serving Every Community: Insights from the MASSBUYS Expo
Reading Time: ~2 mins
Recently, we had the pleasure of attending the 2025 MASSBUYS Expo at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. This event brought together public purchasing and procurement officials from various government agencies, municipalities, non-profit organizations, and public education institutions. As an authorized provider of language services for the state of Massachusetts, iTi was excited to connect with these dedicated professionals.
Meeting Diverse Organizations
Throughout the day, we met individuals from a wide range of organizations, including:
- First Responders
- Family Services Workers
- Public Education Institutions
- Mental Health and Addiction Services
- Healthcare Organizations
- Non-profit Companies
These conversations were enlightening and heartening, showcasing the commitment to serving every member of the community, regardless of cultural and language differences.
The Importance of Serving Everyone in Massachusetts
Despite the current US administration’s policies that cut funding and services to DEI initiatives, and declare English as the official language of the United States, Massachusetts organizations remain steadfast in their dedication to serve all their constituents and provide language access when needed. Massachusetts serves a diverse number of language groups including but not limited to Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Haitian Creole, and others and they want to ensure that all community members receive the supports they need.
