Highly Qualified Interpreters
For the healthcare setting, your organization can rest easy knowing our spoken language interpreters are among the best in the industry. It doesn't matter whether it's VRI, OPI, or In-person our medical interpreters:
- Must hold a CCHI/NBCMI national certification
- Meet or exceed all Joint Commission requirements
- At least 2 years experience medical interpreting
- Adhere strictly to the Professional Interpreting Code of Ethics
- All VRI interpreters go through customized training
RID-Certified ASL Interpreters
The Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) has a rigorous set of criteria for certification, including:
- A bachelor's degree or successful application of equivalency through Alternative Pathway.
- A high level of proficiency in both ASL and English
- Completion of a dedicated interpreter education program
- A qualifying score on the National Interpreter Certification (NIC) exam.
- Continuing education through RID's Certification Maintenance Program.
Knowledgeable Certified Translators
iTi assigns translators who have the appropriate experience and knowledge in industry terminology. Their qualifications include:
- Must hold an American Translator Association (ATA) certification, or an equivalent regional university or college certification.
- At least 2 years of translation experience.
- For advanced subjects, an accredited university degree in an appropriate subject
